About Me
I have always been deeply passionate about advocating for social justice and ensuring that individuals feel heard, supported, and protected. During my Criminology studies at the University of Toronto’s St. George campus, I chose to pursue a paralegal diploma alongside my undergraduate degree so I could begin making a meaningful impact in the legal field as early as possible.
As a visible minority, and someone surrounded by friends and family who are immigrants, I became increasingly aware of the barriers many people face—whether in the workplace, through systematic discrimination, or simply from not knowing their legal rights and protections. These experiences strengthened my commitment to a career centered on advocacy, fairness, and accessible legal representation.
My goal is to ensure that every client feels empowered and informed while receiving ethical, compassionate, and professional representation. In Ontario, lawyers and licensed paralegals are entrusted with providing legal services and guiding individuals through often overwhelming legal processes. I believe access to justice should never feel out of reach. Through my work, I strive to reduce the stress and uncertainty that come with legal disputes and reassure clients that their rights and interests are valued and worth fighting for.
With approximately 60,000 lawyers and 10,000 licensed paralegals practicing in Ontario, the mere possession of a licence should not be the sole factor considered when selecting legal representation. While experience and knowledge within a particular area of law are essential, it is equally important to retain a representative who understands your individual needs and is committed to providing client-focused service.
When selecting a legal representative, I encourage individuals to consider the following:
-
Are they able to provide services tailored to your specific circumstances and concerns?
-
Do they demonstrate an understanding of, and respect for, cultural differences and diverse backgrounds?
-
Are they offering efficient and cost-effective services while maintaining professional standards and meeting your expectations?
-
Do they communicate clearly, respond promptly, and explain legal procedures in a way that is easy to understand?
-
Are they keeping you informed and consistently updated on the status of your matter?
Legal representation should extend beyond qualifications alone. Clients deserve professionalism, transparency, responsiveness, and an advocate who is genuinely committed to protecting their interests throughout every stage of the legal process.
