A hearing before a government tribunal, also known as an administrative tribunal, is similar to a court trial, although generally less formal. A tribunal’s hearing process varies from tribunal to tribunal, including applicable law, policies, directions, parties’ rights, witnesses’ rights, admissible evidence, and alternative dispute resolution methods.

It is advisable to retain a legal professional who is knowledgeable about the procedures, rules, and applicable legislation governing a particular tribunal, as each tribunal has different processes, requirements, and procedural rules. Individuals may seek legal advice or representation for a tribunal hearing, appeal, or reconsideration for various reasons, including concerns relating to procedural fairness, errors in law, institutional or personal bias, unreasonable decision-making, or the improper application of legislation, policies, and governing procedures.

SOS Legal Services proudly represents individuals disputing claims within the listed administrative tribunals in the pursuit of fair and just outcomes. Contact us to find out if your matter is eligible to be represented by our firm.
